GENERATION GAPS...

Every generation thinks that its inteligent than its older generation and wiser than its younger generation......
What exactly is generation gap? Is it differing with our elders in taste of tv serials, clothes etc? or is it knowing about different modern gadegts......? I used to live in the same niebourhood before 10yrs as I live now, but in these 10 yrs my family kept moving to different locations,so the changes that took place in my neighbourhood inflected upon me overnight. The famous "bardi chowk" suddenly had these huge mall type apna bazar which I never had seen or imagined could be that big ever......the "chana chor garamwala" had become the cd vendor in the corner confusing me to the core.I remember there used to be a balloonwala at the signal nxt to bardi, which now has Eternity mall, when I was a kid; now it had a person carrying big balloons shaped as different cartoon charecters and a kid tugging her father's hand in car and pointing to those balloons. I instantly went back to the day when I was standing there with my papa asking for 2rs balloon and I realised this was the generation gap......the distinction of balloons was no more just colors. My nieghbourhood had changed so had the generation of kids around me.I had gang of my frenz with whom i used to play at evenings without fail, we got into the fights with children in adjoinig buildings, play "nadi ya pahad" ,pahad bieng the trees n we used to climb them, we played "vish ya amrut" now known as "ice or water" to kids.At the risk of sounding old, children now a days enjoy computer games rather then the actual ones.Elders always say our generation did this n did that wen we were your age.....well I think its not always bad that our future generations are ahead of us, infact I have learned how to create blogs from my next door kid in 8th standard. They are two brothers younger in 8th n elder in 10th, they have launched two websites, made adds for UNICEF, created blog on saving nature n what not. I never recall I bothered about UNICEF in my 8th class anytime else than civics text book.So what I observed and came to an answer to the question is.......generation gap is not about trendy clothes its the fact that our elders critisize our bieng able to handle gadgets and our generation bieng able to appriciate the same fact about our younger generations.

The Start.......

What should i do? Would be the start of my usual day and also would end with the same thought.Today i thought while watching the boring n useless series of tv serials, which would save my day giving lots n lots of dialogues to laugh on n situations that in no way could be in anybody's life, that all my frenz must also be facing the same things as i am. So, here s something new for all u frenz.......
I m at my home enjoying the liesure time available now. I did a course in pune few months back and realised how cool my college life was. Alwez surrounded by frenz in the canteen and gobbling the cups of tea just so that we could make fun of people passing by. My college was not at a big place like pune bombay n all so we were far from the stress related to jobs n supllimentary courses so we enjoyed every inch of life. When i went to pune i realized how intervoven our lives had become in four years of engg. We never got to shop in big malls n in the name of pizzas all we got was bread layered with a mix veg type thing.....which strangely we enjoyed a lot.We didnt have cinemax n inox bt me n my two frenz, the group, saw all movies that were so cheap you wont believe. u know we saw dhoom2 in black n the tickets cost us a wholesome of 30 rs........it was so much fun. I plan to write all these incidents every day so do read to know me n my awsome frenz.....
